The Scottish Legacy

Lila Douglas's great-aunt, the wealthy Lady Cecily Douglas, has summoned her nieces and nephews to her foreboding Scottish castle under the threat of disinheritance. And though neither Scotland in winter nor Lady Cecily's disposition promise a pleasant visit, a great deal of money is at stake -- which Lila';s parents would hate to see her forfeit. Lila, however, happens to be looking forward to the trip, and her reasons are quite priceless . . . Clear-headed Lila was never a believer in love at first sight -- until the previous spring, when she fell hopelessly in love with her dashing second cousin, Alastair Russell. Ever since, her mind has been filled with inventions of future meetings that end with happily ever after. And now her chance for a reunion has arrived. But can her romantic fantasy withstand the reality of the greedy family gathering -- not to mention a most unexpected rival
