'They touched a million'

"Canadian-born George Brucks left his homeland in 1951 to serve as a missionary and evangelist in Europe. He travelled and preached in the hurting world of post-war Europe and is today 'alive and well, ' indeed still going strong, in a Europe bewildered by the departure of its youth from the churches. George married Reina, the daughter of a noted Dutch evangelist. Their four children were born in Holland. His grasp of languages, his cultural and theological cross-pollination and his extensive travels on both sides of the Iron Curtain have made him into a truly unique European whose influence for Christ and His church is remarkable. The book emerges from the crucible of his own life. Rich in valuable statistical information and enhanced by his inimitable humour, this collection of true stories is at the same time his story ... for he also has 'touched a million.'"--Back cover.
