Thresholds for Threes

Children love this giant four-foot tree that teaches children the changing of the seasons. Included are names, colors, and weather observation. This teaching visual with its accessories may be used for many activities throughout the year. The tree with its seasonal foliage and accessories may be used to introduce each new season (e.g., autumn by adding fall foliage with the pumpkins and turkey; winter by placing the snowman near the tree; spring by adding the tree blossom foliage; and summer by adding the green foliage). There are several animals included to add interest in the various seasons: birds, squirrels, raccoons, rabbits, and skunks. Materials and suggestions are included for teaching skills in name, letter, and numeral recognition. Other concept visuals included: weather maker symbols, animal forecasters, birthday recognition, height ladder chart. - Publisher.
