על הספר
Not a book about gardening, it's a book about people who garden ... people like old Mrs Fuller who remembers watching First World War Italian POWs demolish the local manor house; General Safi former Protector of the Kind of Afghanistan who fled his native country after being imprisoned and tortured; and Michael Wale, who's had an allotment since 1980 and has an obsession with compost. As Wale embarks on a narrative journey through the seasons in his allotment world, he engages with his fellow gardeners and tells their stories. View From A Shed is for everyone in the big city who has dreamt about country life - it doesn't have to be just a dream.
