For Vivienne Thayer, employed as an artist at the villa, the war has worked out well so far, and while the government quibbles of what can and cannot be shown, and the villa there are no such restrictions. Meanwhile, on the the Home Front, three women have been tasked with recording wartime life, brightening the existance of a public starved for culture.
