Wish you were here

'Wish You Were Here' tells the stories of seven girls who worked as redcoats in Butlin's Golden Age from the 1950s to the 1970s. From pranks and feuds to falling in love and forging lifelong friendships, Knobbly Knees winners and beauty queens alike can now discover the touching and gloriously funny highs, lows, secrets and scandals of those at the very heart of the world's most famous holiday camp. Forget 'Hi-de-Hi!', this is what it was really like. Times have changed, but the friendships and bonds formed between those redcoats, and those who also worked or holidayed at Butlin's in those sunlit days, will endure forever.
