Yellow Cards & Sin Bins

Just when you thought it was time to relax in Godzone, it becomes apparent that 2015 is World Cup year. Rugby in Rugbyland (New Zealand) needs to be galvanised with a view to proving to the world that we are still the best. The material in this book will enable you to relax and enjoy the lighter side of the often serious business of rugby - until things get really serious at the World Cup. Tall tales, short pieces, trenchant trivia and whimsical observations relating to the All Blacks, Super Rugby players, provincial and club participants - and a raft of adherents in between - serve to remind us that rugby humour can be quite distinctive. And you don't have to wallow in nostalgia - or yesterday's jokes - to get away from it all. Most of the material in this book is as contemporary as a Sonny Bill Williams off-load.
