Yury Kharchenko

The colours in Yury Kharchenko's paintings oscillate between vibrancy and gloom and combine abstract expanses of colour with alienated figurative elements. The 26-year-old artist completed his art studies as a Meisterschüler (student in a master class) at the age of 22. He subsequently studied philosophy and Jewish theology. In the USA, he is already referred to as the "Wunderkind Painter". This publication documents his work over the last eight years.0Exhibition: Kunsthalle FRISCH, Berlin, Germany (26.4-1.6.2013). 0.
