About the author
Isaac Asimov was an American writer and biochemist, closely associated with 20th-century science fiction. He also wrote popular science, mysteries, and fantasy, and during his lifetime he was counted among the three major names of English-language science fiction alongside Robert A. Heinlein and Arthur C. Clarke.
His fiction is known for its clear, idea-driven approach. Asimov often writes about future societies, history, logic, technological responsibility, and the relationship between humans and machines. He is especially linked with the Foundation series, robot stories, and the Three Laws of Robotics, and his books often mix science-fiction concepts with mystery-like structure.
A good place to start is I, Robot if you want the robot stories and the ideas behind them. For a larger series entry point, Foundation and Foundation and Empire work well together. If you want a mix of science fiction, worldbuilding, and a more puzzle-like feel, try The Caves of Steel, The End of Eternity, or The Gods Themselves.
