About the book

Rose and Andreas make an exceedingly odd couple in 1980s Cambridge: she is the fifth tallest woman in Britain and he is a penniless post-grad from Germany. But together they set up a lookalike agency with bizarre, and ultimately fatal, results. Twenty years on, and Andreas is in prison. His days aren't improved by the humdrum letters he receives from his 'pen-pal' Alexandra, a young woman determined to do good works. The pair find themselves in a netherworld of off-colour 'celebrity' performances, and on the trail of some seriously dangerous lookalikes.
