About the book
This discusses the methodological concerns involved and reviews representative studies of the contributions of biological, environmental, experimental, and social factors in producing aggression. It examines how many of these factors function as it discusses several areas of current concern: juvenile delinquency, physical and sexual child abuse, spousal abuse, rape, and aggression associated with psychiatric conditions.
First sentence: Essentially all people are in some way affected by aggression, whether they are targets of it, engage in it themselves, or are charged with observing and controlling it in others.
