The astral body is the vehicle of feelings and emotions seen by clairvoyants as an aura of flashing colors.

First sentence: BEFORE proceeding to a detailed study of the astral body, and of phenomena associated with it, it may be useful to lay before the student a brief outline of the ground it is proposed to cover, in order to give in proper perspective a view of the whole subject and of the relative dependence of its several parts.
