About the book

City slicker Benedict Laverton is billed as top prize at the Coolumbarup Bachelors' Ball. To escape the ordeal, he persuades one of the organizers, Rosy Scott, into bidding for him with his own money. But Rosy gets carried away, bidding a cool $10,000 ... When she goes on stage to claim her man, Rosy not only has to face Benedict's stunned disbelief, she has to kiss him too - a kiss which is spectacular enough to convince her that getting involved with Benedict will end in disaster ...
