Balance for Kids Balance for Kids is a "watered down" version of Balancing Christianity. Balance for Kids helps our kids to find real and lasting balance in the areas of self-control, faith, trust, and in our relationships; and concerning God's timing. Emotional and physical matters, free will, giving and receiving, possessions, and love and control issues. We also discuss how to deal with the feelings of suicide, self-hatred, depression, bitterness, guilt, and confusion. We delicately address controversial issues such as pornography, promiscuity, homosexuality, incest, and molestation. Come with us into the deepest crevasses of your heart, mind, and soul. Join us on a journey through the scriptures, and we will search for true love, joy, hope, peace, and happiness. We will be making several stops along the way to smell the (whatever) and to visit for a while with the Holy Spirit, God, and Jesus. It is our sincere hope and prayer that your kids will be challenged to pursue a deeper and more personal relationship with God in Jesus as they read through the pages of this book. Author Profile The son of a Texas rancher, Jon Parish was born in the small town of Littlefield, and then spent most of his childhood on a dairy farm in central Minnesota. It is Jon's heartfelt desire and prayer that his readers will be challenged to pursue a deeper and more personal relationship with God in Jesus as they read through the pages of his books.
