A notorious terrorist is on the loose. A massive attack that may kill a million people is coming in two days. The CIA is helpless. Their psychics aren't up to the task. Their field agents aren't even close. So, whom do they call? Ryan Gordon, a 28-year-old scam psychic who bills himself "Psychic to the Stars." One day he's shaking down fading divas by contacting spirits of their long dead lovers. Next day, he's strapped to a chair with wires sticking out from his head and chest. He's being interrogated by some shady guys claiming they're CIA, and insisting he's really Kenny Vickers, the greatest psychic ever known. What's worse, Axel, the terrorist, wants to procure Ryan before the attack, and use him as his secret weapon. He tried to snatch Ryan as a child but failed. Seems the kid had this nasty little quirk that enabled him to melt people. Now Axel wants to make up for that failure. Ryan's repressed his true nature. He has two days to snap back and save the world--Back cover.
