Creative Lighting

Creative Lighting: Custom and Decorative Luminaires is a stunning collection of contract interiors that reveals a proliferation of new, creative possibilities in the lighting field. Luminaires range from the custom lava lamps of Spot Bagel Bakery to the antler chandeliers of the Big Cedar Lodge and the avant-garde, ultramodern lighting sculptures created by Motoko Ishii. Also included is an extensive products section that considers the most up-to-date techniques for shaping and processing materials. These fixtures and locations blend the complex requirements of lighting myriad spaces with the unique visions of the leading lighting and interior designers, and architects. Projects capture the character of buildings and spaces using materials varying from treated papers, textured glass, wire mesh, to faux-painted acrylics, as tradition weds technology in the true spirit of our age.
