Darien venture

Fate had filled young Adam Carnock's life with incredible adventures. But now his future seemed secure. He had his medical diploma and he was in love. But the night before he planned to sail for Jamaica with his beloved, Beth Balfour, he was beaten, robbed, and shanghaied. In the nights which followed--some spent in rain-drenched jungles. . .some, in a dungeon cell. . . some, in the ever hospitable bed of an insatiable lady--Adam Carnock remained loyal to his oath as a doctor and his love for Beth Balfour. With their help he survived to tell his story.
