Devil's harvest

In a lush Laotian valley, two scientists - rivals in research, politics, and love - make a world shaking discovery that can save millions of lives - and upset the balance of world power. Who will get the secret formula? Dr. John Merchant wants to contribute it to the cause of world peace. Dr Chan Thornton, his colleague and foster-brother, is determined to give it to the Chinese Communists, who will use it as a weapon. Just accross the border, Communists troops prepare to seal off the valley. And at the laboratory, the two scientists wage a grim battle for survival. To the winner goes prestige, power - and the woman they both love.
