Diverted

**In the fight for a forgotten tribe, only one thing is certain—someone won’t make it out alive.** US Coast Guard officer Nick Taggert is a man rebuilt—scarred by injury, haunted by betrayal, and now leading TEAM RECON, a unit of broken warriors given one last shot at redemption. Their mission: take the fight to the cartels destabilizing Central and South America. Their reality: nothing ever goes according to plan. Dr. Carolina Alvarez once stitched Nick back together—body and soul—before walking away without looking back. Now, when a sacred Amazonian tribe faces extinction, Carolina risks everything to deliver a groundbreaking vaccine into the heart of cartel territory. Then the shipment is stolen. As mercenaries, cartels, and a shadow organization close in, Nick and Carolina are forced into an uneasy alliance that drags them from New York’s streets to the jungles of Ecuador in a desperate race to recover the cure before thousands die. But the deeper they go, the clearer it becomes: this isn’t about medicine. Someone is willing to kill to keep the truth buried. And if Nick and Carolina can’t learn to trust each other again, the mission won’t be the only thing that destroys them.
