In his abstract sculptures Enrique Asensi combines the two classic materials steel and stone: Corten steel contrasts with such differently-colored stones as diabase, dolomite, granite, limestone, or alabaster.0The book accompanies a double exhibition. The large-format sculptures can be seen in the Flottmann-Hallen and the Skulpturenpark in Herne, while the medium-sized and smaller sculptures, draft drawings, and wax paintings are on display in the Kunstmuseum Gelsenkirchen.
