Ezra Pound

"In this new account of Ezra Pound's career, Ira B. Nadel reveals the principles of poetic construction, prose style and political views that made Pound one of the most important twentieth-century literary innovators. Using new sources and archives, Pound emerges as one of the pivots for such movements as Imagism, Vorticism and Modernism. His peripatetic and unusual private life also forms much of the story drawing from correspondence, essays, radio broadcasts and manifestos. Pound's response to technology also forms a part of the story."--BOOK JACKET.
