Filthy Business

"1968 East London. In a rapidly changing Britain the Solomon family must adapt their business or die. But the competing agendas of each volatile member threaten to tear the whole firm apart. Tough, ruthless, but always devoted matriarch Yetta built her 'empire' from nothing, from a small market stall to a thriving emporium, through sheer grit and passion and against incredible adversity: now she is determined to keep the family together and the business alive. It's proving, however, to be her toughest challenge yet. With warring sons, quarrelling in-laws, mutinous employees, ferocious competitors and the younger generation vibrantly bursting to embrace this brave new world, how far will she go to keep the family in the business and the business in the family? This fiery new family comedy takes a closer look at the entrepreneurial outsiders who became part of the beating heart of modern Britain."--Provided by publisher.
