About the book
"A brilliant, picaresque graphic novel of alienation and despair. Ted Stearn's cult-favorite heroes Fuzz and Pluck (rooster and a bear) return in this hilariously bizarre and charming graphic novel. Fired from his degrading job, Pluck is taken in by a ragtag team of gladiators. He vows that he will become the champion of this sport. Meanwhile, Fuzz, unaware of Pluck's career change, finds himself trapped in a bedroom full of clueless stuffed animals. When Fuzz escapes, he takes on the Sysiphean task of helping a ferryman compete with a bridge. Eventually, Pluck accomplishes his goal-- until he finally meets his match. A mad race and tug of war culminates in a fatal convergence that changes everything for our two poor misfits."--Amazon.com.
