About the book
A person's attitude toward the opening statement of the Word of God -- "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth" -- is a true test of his faith in the rest of Scripture. Is this record of creation fact -- or is it fable? Upon your answer to this question hinges all other answers pertaining to the problems of death, sin, redemption, heaven, and hell. Dr. DeHaan does not set out to quarrel with science. Rather, he points out that there can be no conflict between true science and the correct interpretation of Scripture, for God is the Author of both true science and the Word. Wherever conflict arises, either the Bible or scientific evidence has been misinterpreted. -- Back cover.
