With his quiet and simultaneously fascinating video works, Gianfranco Foschino (*1983) is part of a new generation of Latin American artists that is internationally renowned for its poetry and sociopolitical explosiveness. His films are created with a fixed camera, which is aimed at one motif: natural landscapes, urban or rural scenery. They are moments that seem to have fallen out of time, pictures that take a stand against the hectic bustle of our time and consequently captivate all the more. The catalogue documents Foschino's first institutional solo exhibition in Europe, at the Stadtgalerie Saarbrücken in 2015. Exhibition: Stadtgalerie Saarbrücken, Germany (06.11.2015-31.01.2016).
