Gunfighter in Gotham

Following up on his earlier book, Bat Masterson: The Man and the Legend, which examined the life of William Barclay Masterson (1853-1921) as a frontiersman of the American West, DeArment here turns his attention to Masterson's late-life career as a sportswriter in New York City. He describes Masterson's influence on the world of sports, his social life centered on the theater district of Broadway, and other aspects of Masterson's later career.
