Here comes the clown

Another brilliantly bizarre and hilarious travelogue from the audacious comedian, and TV star, Dom Joly. Dom Joly has enjoyed an extraordinarily eventful fifteen years in show business. From his early days of anarchic political satire he scaled the dizzy heights of success with Trigger Happy TV, before blundering hilariously through is multi-million-pound deal at the BBC and his subsequent casting out into the showbiz hinterland. Along the way he met his musical heries, managing to embarrass himself at every turn. Somehow he found hismself unwittingly part of the Chipping Norton set, entangled in a celebrity feud with Michael Winner and staling his neighbour, Liz Hurley, in the name of reality TV. He travelled the world 'investigating' alcohol with his best friend, Pete; diced with death in a rocket in New Zealand; got unexpectedly hands-on with a bull in Mexico; spent a month in the Australian rainforest with Shaun Ryder; belly-flopped in front of the entire nation; and sold his flat to Salman Rushdie.
