Hod po zemlji mrtve braće

Hod po zemlji mrtve braće is a poetry collection by Bosnian-born Austrian author Sandra Džananović. Written in a restrained and reflective voice, the poems move through landscapes marked by memory, loss, and historical silence, examining how personal experience intersects with collective history. Rather than offering direct narratives, the collection approaches its themes through fragments, images, and quiet observations. Absence, distance, and the persistence of memory become central poetic elements, revealing how the past continues to shape the inner life of the present. The poems inhabit a space between the intimate and the historical, where language attempts to give form to what often remains unspoken.
