In the Shadow of Sherlock Holmes

> This new collection features 20 stories published during the earliest days of detective literature, 1862 to 1910. These adventures are stand-outs in the field, and though not well-known today, they easily match or beat Arthur Conan Doyle's master detective in whose shadow they have been relegated. This timely "best of the best" collection corrects that literary oversight. With introductions and annotations by noted Holmes scholar, Leslie S. Klinger.
