Indocile

In this novel of learning, Yves Bichet explores what is played at the end of adolescence: the intoxication of commitment, the quest for the absolute and the need to fulfill in the tumult of love. Turning your back on childhood is sometimes also confronting war ... Theo must support Antoine wounded in the Algerian conflict. He will secretly love his friend's mother and then meet Mila, a young woman mysteriously marked by a thunderbolt that will lead him, despite himself, towards civic resistance. Turning his back on his country, he will leave behind his childhood to plunge into the vertigo of clandestinity.--translation of page 4 of cover by Gallimard.
