About the book

Jack is lazy. Instead of walking the cow to market, he sits on a log. And instead of selling the cow for a good price, he swaps her for a handful of beans. Luckily for Jack, these are no ordinary beans ... Jack and the Beanstalk is one of the most popular English folk-tales, and dates back hundreds of years. This modern retelling, with hilarious illustrations by award-winning, international favourite Andrew Joyner, gives this traditional story a new lease of life and guaranteed pride of place on every child's bookshelf.
