Jalkut Schimoni Zu Josua

"The Yiddish Shimoni is a collection of rabbinical interpretations throughout the Hebrew Bible. It is unclear what the criteria were chosen for, and whether the work was conceived as a comprehensive book for exegetical questions concerning the connection between the interpretation of the Bible in Talmud and Midrash, or the reform of the rabbinical interpretation tradition. The translation of the work is a first step to answer these questions." -- back cover.
