Jean Prouvé

"The architect and designer Jean Prouvé is recognized as one of the pioneers of the innovative production of furniture and architecture of the twentieth century. Its avant-garde spirit, coupled with humanist concerns, is still relevant today. The box in two volumes, more than 750 pages, is a reissue largely enriched reference book, now out of print, published by the Gallery Patrick Seguin in 2007. This new publication, both didactic and complete, presents, by typology, all the work of the designer in the field of furniture but also architecture. Indeed, a new chapter entirely devoted to its architectural production reveals the full extent and richness of Jean Prouvé's work. Bilingual French-English."--Provided by publisher.
