John Houston

"Renowned for his bold, expressionistic painting of the Scottish landscape, John Houston has made a major contribution to Scottish art over the last half-century. Born in 1930, he studied at Edinburgh College of Art, where he subsequently taught for many years. This book illustrates many of Houston's most important paintings, together with an extensive interview that documents his career and provides a rare insight into the creative process of an artist."--BOOK JACKET.
