Journey to Star Wars: The Force Awakens

Journey to Star Wars: The Force Awakens is a science fiction book series tied to the Star Wars publishing line, created to connect the sequel-era films with earlier stories in the franchise. Based on the data here, it belongs to the canonical Star Wars universe and brings together work by multiple authors, including Claudia Gray and Rebecca Roanhorse. It is best understood as a companion series that adds context to the wider world of Star Wars rather than standing apart from it.

From the information provided, the series has 4 books and spans the years 2015 to 2019. There is no sign here that a reading order other than the one shown on the page is required, so the safest approach is to follow the publication order. That is also the structure used in the listing, which makes it easy to move through the series as it was released.

A good place to begin is Lost Stars if you want to start at the first entry in this set, or Star Wars: Bloodline if you want to continue along the published sequence. This series should suit readers who enjoy Star Wars and want canon stories that deepen the setting, tone, and background of that universe.
