Junji Ito Masterpiece Collection vol. 7

In the empty old school building, there is only an art studio full of terrifying sculptures. Would you dare to go in and find out what the artist's intention is? In the story that gives the anthology its title, Shimada and Rumi participate in their school's art club, and their teacher, Mr. Okabe, is a sculptor in the midst of preparations for the exhibition of his pieces — a collection of headless sculptures. The two students agree to stay late to help him, without suspecting that this would be the worst decision of their lives. Headless sculptures are not mere objects... They are something more! Among the other tales, we have a village that suffers with the return of the dead after their funeral rites; a circus run by the devil himself; a city where it is impossible to walk around without ending up completely lost; girls who gain beauty in exchange for life time; a feud between friends that goes beyond the barrier of death... Stories focused on events of an incomprehensible supernatural order, one of Junji Ito's favorite themes!
