La Lenteur des montagnes

Many literary works have wanted to identify recent years, the difficulty of the situation of the immigrant, to embrace a new culture without ever managing to forget entirely that which it is derived. This book asks a question much deeper and complex. How an immigrant can account for this choice with her children? If the adult has chosen her new home and the child relocated. What can then redeem the immense pain of being without roots?
