Le Corbusier Alive

"Nearly four decades after his death, Le Corbusier, the architect of the century, is still the subject of ardent controversies and of opposing views amalgamating his urbanist theories, architectural principles, the stands he took as a man and as an artist and his untiring preaching of modernity. This does not do the architect justice. THe buildings of Le Corbusier, however, are alive and well. This book, revisiting about twenty or so of his most remarkable works, is a vivid statement to that effect. Le Corbusier Alive is a presentation of up-to-date commentaries illustrated by more than 100 documents and black and white photographs and 180 original color photographs, all previously unpublished"--Front flap.
