Luther Rice was a remarkable man. The well-known story of his study of the Greek New Testament and subsequent immersion as a Baptist has been told many times. This biography will help readers understand Rice as a servant of God with strengths and weaknesses and a co-worker, as well as a figure from the past. A family member said of him: "Luther always expected that tomorrow would not only be a fair day, but a little fairer than today." In his life and work, Luther Rice was a believer in tomorrow. - Back cover.
