About the book

While Silver Vein's citizens watch 'Misfit Lil' shine in a gala shooting match, Yuma Nat Hawkins and his gang rob the bank and gun down the depleted opposition in cold blood. Patrick "Preacher" Kilkeiran witnesses and robbery, but keeps his distance - and is soon striking a mysterious deal with a renegade Indian before fleeing town. But it is Kilkieran's brutal assault on Lil's friend Estelle that compels her to vow retribution and track him down.
