Murder times two

"Murder Times Two, a treat for readers of romance and murder mysteries, features Detective Tracy Hunter, who quits her job with the Chicago Police Department and returns to her hometown of Ada, Oklahoma, to probe into the strange events surrounding her birth. Her personal inquiries quickly entangle her in the investigations of two murders, with two extreme results: she reconnects with her high-school sweetheart, Hal Montgomery, now a rancher and oil tycoon, but she lands in jail and begins to suspect Hal may be involved in shady political shenanigans - and perhaps the murders. Tracy presses on toward truth on all fronts, with the help of her sister Ruth and Kit Jordan, a beautiful Chickasaw Indian. As the three join forces to find the killers, they emerge as serious torchbearers of the women's movement of the 1960s, though they jokingly call themselves the KCIA: the Kit and Caboodle Investigation Agency."--Back cover.
