Mystery of Sacajawea

Harold P. Howard presents the source material from the journals kept by members of the Lewis and Clark expedition to tell Sacajawea's story. Besides discussing the controversies about her name, her service as guide and interpreter, and the contradictory evidence about her death, Howard describes Sacajawea's other important roles during the westward journey.
