About the book
Nick Nelson is the person you would be happy to see date your sister; a guy who once left a pick-up basketball game to carry a struggling stranger's groceries 17 blocks to her home. He wants only one thing from life -- to meet a wife and start a family. In contrast, the words "nice guy" and Rick McDermott rarely find their way into the same sentence and Rick is ok with that. He's a sarcastic, womanizing, cad whose occasional leaks of charm are the only times he's even tolerable. Nick Nelson Was Here is the story of what happens when the last true nice guy befriends his exact opposite and goes off on a cross country journey to find Nick's "one that got away"--A woman who just happens to be the most popular actress in the world
