Origami Animal Sculpture

Origami Animal Sculpture offers a refreshing take on the endlessly fascinating field of zoomorphic origami. In this book, origami artist John Szinger shares his unique vision of the wild with how-to-fold instructions for 22 intermediate-to-advanced models. These challenging, lifelike and expressive designs incorporate aspects of sculpture, mathematics and creative expression, and populate intriguing categories, such as Adirondack animals and objects, cephalopods, Arctic marine mammals and insects. Szinger's attention to detail is apparent in his work, where evocative legs, tentacles, claws and antlers deftly exhibit the subjects' quintessential postures and attitudes. Folders will find that the beautiful photos and clear instructions make this all-new collection a joy to fold and display.
