In the trail-herding town of Haymes, they knew him as Logan Marlowe, and he was trusted and respected as the town constable. What he had been before, no one asked -- but Marlowe himself knew that he had been with the Wild Bunch, that he had robbed banks, just as a couple of owl hooters were doing the day he first found himself in Haymes.
