This book contains the never-before published script of what is most probably the first ever one-woman show. "Dramatic recollections" was performed by Fanny Kelly in Britain across two decades in the 1830s and 1840s. It is based on Kelly's own experiences and offers a unique picture of the exuberant and often bizarre Georgian entertainment world.
