Pledge of hatred

She defied an ancient curse -- and risked death. Olivia was drawn to her grandmother's ancestral home, despite her cousin Robin's warning about the curse of Pengellen. The legend demanded the violent death of a family member every other generation -- and in this case, that meant herself. But her emotions were torn when Robin coldly asked her to marry him. She loved him desperately -- and knew he didn't return her passion. What had prompted him to propose? Olivia wavered. His first two wives were dead ... had they died naturally?
