Raquel

It's Christmas but 13-year-old Raquel doesn't feel like celebrating. Her dad has just left and her family has moved yet again, forcing her to start a new school in the middle of the year. When Gabe, the cutest guy in school, asks her out Raquel can't turn him down. But now she finds herself doing whatever it takes to stay thin.... As one of Paraíso's warriors, Raquel soon finds herself battling the shadow-like sombras that have been sent by Mentiroso to destroy all warriors of the King, and her guardian criado, Relámpago, may not always be there to protect her. Espíritu, the flying white Horse, has taken Raquel to the City of Paraíso with its beautiful waterfalls and sparkling mansions. But back on earth she's caught up in a battle in which she must use the Book of Light like a sword....
