Sämmtliche Gedichte

"Adam Sladek is a successful poet, albeit with rather enigmatic work. Lured by big money and the prospect of a complete edition of his poems, he accepts a commission. He is ordered to make a seal to wake the sleeping gods and transform the human world as it was intended. In luxury and seclusion, Slade is presented only the best aesthetic products - films, photographs, books. Startled, notices multiple phenomenon. Is the young hunter he met a reincarnation of the famous daredevil aviatrix Amelia Earhart (as they seem to believe themselves) or an avatar of the goddess Artemis? The suspicion is growing that the commission is for a very different purpose and behind the contractor is a power that Slade is critical of."--Cataloger translation of publisher's description.
