Summary: Het Letterkundig Museum toonde sinds het vijftigjarig bestaan in 2004 op een tamelijk afgelegen plek in het gebouw zijn schrijversportretten. Begin maart 2010 opent minister Plasterk het schitterend vernieuwde museum. Dan zal ook de tentoonstelling met schrijversportretten in volle pracht op een prominente plek opnieuw te zien zijn, aangevuld met talrijke nieuw verworven portretten. Deze alfabetisch ingerichte Nationale Schrijversgalerij bevat geschilderde portretten van circa vierhonderd schrijvers. "Schrijversportretten" is de catalogus van deze nieuwe expositie.
